Artist, visionary, friend of the community,
and teaching artist Cap Jazzo of GlassHead was incarcerated while partying amongst his peers in a area that is hardly a stranger to similar activity.
Time and time again people of other cultures and uprisings are patted on the back and let go for similar behavior, We wont stand for anything less than equity.
Cap Jazzo is in Jail for "public intoxication"
A large number of Americans drink, and if you drink the effect is "intoxication" and if you step outside your are "public"
Cap Jazzo stepped outside and was arrested with a $500 bail note.
We know in the history of America unto today that young indigenous people are arrested for petty crimes that serve no purpose but to fill the states wallet without accurate knowledge of where this money is going ( just as a parking ticket ).
This system is corrupt and unjust and incarcerating a young community members who are already at a disadvantage, and sticking them with a bail they cannot afford further exacerbates their already unfortunate circumstances.
We as a community have the power to amend this unjust actions by our state and disallow further victimization by a corrupt system that arrest people at will and imprisons them in unhealthy conditions.
Cap Jazzo is a musician and a teacher and works with the community. Teaching creative writing at local art studio Level Up and involving himself in performances the spread knowledge through his form of writing and delivery.
He is unjustly incarcerated due to a vague US law and has harmed no one and committed no crime, yet is chained as they have chained us indigenous for centuries.
if you are an activist and if you have a dollar or more and wish someone would do the same for you. Please donate to his release. If we cannot meet the bail the donations will go to his ( illegitimate ) fine.
WE THE PEOPLE.
Stand by your brothers and sisters.
Help us get Jazzo back on his artistry and back inspiring new great minds.
